Payments 

  • A $50 deposit is required to reserve a time for each semester. Deposits are non-refundable and will be credited toward the student’s tuition.

  • An annual registration fee will be added to your first month of lessons. Registration is $25/student. This will be charged again annually on September 1. If you enroll before September 1, you will not be charged again until the following year.

  • Lesson payments will be made through monthly auto draft on the last day of the month for the upcoming month.

  • If payment is not received or payment issues are not rectified by the 7th day of the month, a $50 late fee will be charged.

Attendance 

  • In order to ensure a flexible schedule, we calculate tuition based on a 43 week lesson year and divide the cost evenly over 12 months. This number takes into account holidays, the possibility of inclement weather AND the occasional absence from students. Some months a student may have 5 lessons, others only 3. Our flexible model keeps the monthly payment even and makes room for the occasional student absence. Therefore, no make up lessons are needed!

  • Students are expected to be at their lessons each week and no make ups or refunds will be provided since a few cancellations are already built into the tuition amount. Please notify administration by phone/text or email if a student will be absent.

Materials

  • Lesson books and additional materials are kept in stock for our students. Cost of these books will be charged to your family account when they are given out and included on the current or upcoming invoice.

  • Students are expected to have an instrument at home to practice. If a family needs assistance or recommendations with this, please contact us at info@bristolacademyofmusic.com

Lesson Termination

Media Release

  • I hereby authorize Bristol Academy of Music, its representatives and members the right to take photographs and/or video footage of me, and to publish these photographs and/or video, along with the use of my first name, for use in any Bristol Academy of Music promotional material, in print or on any digital platform.

Calendar

While we do offer year round lessons, the studio schedule is based on semesters that closely resemble the public school calendar. 

inclement weather

In the case of inclement weather, you will be notified by email or phone if the studio will be closed. Lessons missed due to inclement weather will not be made up, as a few absences are already built into the tuition amount.
